A three-case black lacquer inro decorated with an itinerant Chinese literatus looking at a flight of birds from beneath a pine tree

The literatus in makie with the design wrapping around the inro with a rock and a parapet rendered in tsuishu lacquer and inlaid shell. With an ojime and a 2 part manju with scrolling vines in applied lacquer, unsigned and from the 19th century.
