Decorated in gold takamakie with 3 shishi, rocks and peony, originally with kirigane, some lost, unsigned. With a lacquer ojime and a seal netsuke of a seated shishi, also from the 18th century.

The inro depicts a scene of shishi-otoshigo whereby a parent lion initiated its offspring by dropping it from the top of a rock to see if it would survive.
